Ginger Spice Smoothie Bowl

We have SOOOO many smoothie bowl recipes that have been our past ‘Bowl of the Month’ and we thought why not share them all with you to make at home??

Our Ginger Spice bowl was created a couple of years ago for our Christmas bowl of the month, a combination of creamy banana and coconut, paired with almond butter, spices, and a sweetener of dates to create a Gingerbread man thats actually nutritious as well as being delicious!

We will be sharing our fave recipes with you, so they will be here forever for you to try whenever you feel like it. If you have any fab ideas for smoothie bowl flavours that we haven’t done before, let us know and we can create a recipe for you!


Ingredients

  • 100g coconut cream

  • 150g frozen banana

  • 1tsp ground ginger powder

  • 1tsp cinnamon

  • 20g almond butter

  • 20g pitted dates

  • 40g cooked and cooled kumara


Put all ingredients into a high powered blender and ensure you don’t over blend the mixture.

Pour into a bowl, top with toasted granola, coconut flakes, ginger chocolate, honey, or whatever nuts or seeds you have!
